'Cactuses' Featured on the Google Video Blog

Our amazing friends at Google who have made my life unspeakably easier just put up a post about Cactuses on the Google Video Blog. Hopefully this will help some wandering movie-seekers to discover the flick!

Cactuses can also now be downloaded for your iPod or PSP on the Cactuses Google Video page. Just go to the page and select the download that you want from the drop-down box on the right-hand side.

The Online Store is now live too! Don't buy your Cactuses gear from anywhere else.

2,000,000 Downloads

The feature movie has been online 3.5 weeks now, and we've had just about 400 views/downloads of the flick. We haven't really advertised that much yet so I don't think that is too shabby at all. If things keep up at this pace we should hit our goal of 2,000,000 downloads by...let's see here....April of 2342. Awesome!!! There's a huge party planned when we reach the 2 mil mark, and entry is going to be limited, so if you would like your great-great-great-great grandchildren to be added to the guest list, shoot me an e-mail at fiesta2342@cactusesmovie.com. We'll be raffling off a brand new mp3 player of the latest variety, which by then will be so hip and so tiny that it wont even hold music. Those won't be cheap.

DVDs Completed, New Trailer Online

After a blurry, productive month in LA, Rick and I have returned to the Manteca area with our first batch of DVDs and the Cactuses website is almost ready to go online. We predict that the full movie will be available for download on or around March 15th, and until then there is a new movie trailer up for viewing.

If you want to get ready to download and watch the movie, be sure that you have divx and torrent software installed on computer. They are necessary to watch the dvd-quality version of the flick.

DVDs are also available, e-mail me if you would like one. We are only charging a price that will allow us to keep making more DVDs when we run out, and it may fluctuate, so I'll relay the current cost when I hear from you. Remember though, very soon you will be able to watch it in dvd quality on your computer for the cool low price of FREE. But the DVDs look cool so, you know, whatever =)

Also Rick and I had some tasty Moroccan food a couple of weeks ago. So good I am remembering it and posting about it.
